At WealthPack, our vision is to create a personal finance ecosystem that will enable anyone to achieve long term financial security. We aspire to empower people with sophisticated yet easy to use automated tools that will help them make decisions related to budgets, investments and other important financial aspects. While it is early days in the fin tech industry, this is as an industry on the verge of takeoff as socio economic and technology factors align.
Where we are currently
We are commencing beta testing and launching commercially in the next 2 months. Our apps are designed to be intuitive, user friendly and use the best available technology. We plan to cover all aspects of personal finance through a family of apps over the coming 2-3 years. The technology - Python (Django framework), Android, Nodejs and various front end technologies Angularjs, etc.
Who we are looking for & job requirements
We are looking for a VP Technology to head up the developer's team and become a partner in the growth of the company.We would like to speak to people with product development experience
- The core job will involve not only managing the team but also developing the long term technology strategy.
- The incumbent will not only have the freedom to choose technology options, but also build the tech team.
- On offer would be the backing of the founding partners and adequate budgetary allocations.
- VP Technology would be the most critical managerial position in the coming few months as the technical complexity scales as user numbers grow exponentially.
Compensation & Equity
The fixed salary compensation will be at market rates. But more importantly, we will offer substantial equity and a chance to be a partner in the company at this early stage. Equity is particularly lucrative right now as funding is scheduled for the latter half of this year.
