SAP Material Management Functional Analyst - ABAP/BPM Modules (6-12 yrs)

Core Responsibilities :

- Lead, direct and manage matrix and/or direct project team resources to accomplish project objectives on time, within budget and meeting expectations of the project stakeholder.

- Work with project internal & external project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery

- Should have managed projects for 2-3 years & should have exposure to Change Management

- Strong coordination and cross team collaboration skills

- The area of responsibility includes master data structures, transactional data, implemented functions and components, user roles and authorizations, and applicable interfaces

- Organizational Structure Elements incl. Account Assignment Configuration

- Vendor Master Data Structure & Processes & Configuration

- Material Master Data Structure & Processes & Configuration

- Purchase Requisition Process Flow & Configuration

- RFQ Process Flow & Configuration

- Purchase Order Process Flow & Configuration

- Good Received Note Process Flow & Configuration

- Service Entry Sheet Process Flow & Configuration

- Invoice Verification Process Flow & Configuration

- Inventory Management with Repetitive Stock Counts Process Flow & Configuration

- Integration to SAP Finance & Plant Maintenance

- PR & PO release strategy configuration and determination

- Assist stakeholders in documenting future business requirements and defining suitable application solutions in alignment with the EO's organizational goals and best business practices

- Assist in the participation of implementations and improvements of Materials and Warehouse Management, throughout the entire lifecycle of the application (Project Preparation, Blueprint, Realization, Final Preparation, Go live and Support)

- Designing SAP non standard developments and applications e.g. interfaces and additional procurement processes related to the construction industry.

- Working closely with all business stakeholders (internal and external) defining requirements and providing functional solutions. This will include the preparation of master data and extraction of transactional data from various systems, definition of user roles and authorizations, developing report layouts, creating end user documentation and training curriculum, and working with the necessary stakeholders to conduct end user training (all where applicable)

- Responsible for all primary support of the Materials and Warehouse Management applications. This will involve liaison with the affected business parties in the resolution of such issues. This activity may require extensive forms of communication with both internal and external business partners

- Focus on the core SAP application assigned to them, but not limited to that skill set. Additional SAP functional applications may be assigned that are aligned with the core skill set and therefore cross skilling in other functional areas is expected and encouraged

- Actively participate in the complete development lifecycle of all applicable projects relating to their assigned SAP functional applications, including requirements gathering, analysis and recommendations, solution design, implementation, testing and documentation

Self- Management Responsibilities :

- Agree on the performance goals at the beginning of the year in discussion with the reporting manager

- Take personal initiative and strive to achieve high levels of proficiency on all the tasks to be performed as a part of the role

- Actively seek inputs from superiors and peers, to identify opportunities for improving own performance and developing own capability

- Identify the training and development requirements for self and agree on them with the reporting manager

Perform other responsibilities and tasks as directed by the manager in order to meet department/ division objectives

Educational Qualifications :

- B.Sc.- Information Technology or equivalent, or higher

- Very good knowledge of financial management processes, controlling management processes as well as project system and investment management processes

- SAP Certification in the core functional module (MM/WMS)

Years of Experience

- 6-8 years- experience in SAP Materials Management applications and implementations

- 2-3 full cycle implementations

- 2- 3 years in a core function management role (preferably Materials and Warehouse Management), or

2-3 years as an applicable functional area team lead
