Orbis Service - System Assistant - Network Support (4-6 yrs)
Designation : Sr. System Assistant/System Assistant Direct
Reporting to : Site/Campus Head
Functional Reporting to : Organization's Site IT-In charge/Head of IT
Principal Responsibilities :
1. Staff Management :
i. Manage site/campus small IT Team of System Assistants.
ii. Create and maintain personal development plans, such as training to team and gaining/giving opportunity to individual & selfgrowth.
iii. Ensure that the site/campus infrastructure/operational support team meets the required work/task timely completion, as per organization vision & mission.
2. Network, Systems, and Operation Management :
i. Regular IT Operational support & Troubleshooting/management of end user's issues related to :
- Endpoints (desktops/laptops/Tablets/iPad/Mobile devices etc.)
- Devices (Printers/Scanner/Peripherals) etc.
- Audio Video Systems (Classroom Projector & speaker with amplifier/Auditorium Projector/LCD TV/ Virtual Class conferencing/Skype class system)
- Basic Networking support (Router/Switches/ Firewall etc.)
- Operating Systems (Windows/Mac/Android etc.)
- Microsoft Outlook Mails on Desktop/Laptops/Mobiles etc.
- Office 365 cloud support.
- Software Packages (Antivirus/OS/Other applications etc.)
- LAN/WLAN Network o UPS etc.
ii. Provided support on In-house (ERP) & OEM applications to end-users.
iii. Vendor management & call registration, further tracking same for complaint resolution.
iv. Regular preventive maintenance support.
v. Support to various IT Projects (Application/Infrastructure/Networking etc.)
vi. Testing the new product/technologies to get introduced in organization.
vii. Regular various IT support to organization's events on/cross premises.
viii. Supporting & managing the communication mechanism (Email/SMS) for external stakeholders.
ix. MIS & weekly report management.
3. IT Procurement & Asset Management :
i. Ensuring that the organization/site/campus specific IT related infrastructure/operational requirements are timely collected/gathered from users and further submitted for budgeting as per organization vision and mission.
ii. Organization/site/campus specific IT related all CapEx/OpEx item Inventory management.
iii. Disposing/recycling of any obsolete/discarded hardware equipment as per School IT Policy.
4. General :
i. Maintaining a clean and safety conscious work environment to/with stakeholders/team and other users.
ii. Develop Team plans for projects as required and manage own and team resources to ensure that you and your team deliver to committed tasks in team plans.
iii. Ensuring all Due Diligence to ensure the site/campus infrastructure are as per IT (Organization/Vendor) Compliance and are up to date.
iv. Ensuring that all the communication to organization's customer/client/end user done on time by you or your team.
v. Perform regular reporting to direct and functional reporting.
vi. Operational support/help consultation/escalation to Site IT-In charge/Sr. System Assistant.
