Happyperks - Backend Developer - PHP/MySQL (2-4 yrs)

We are looking for people who are self-starters and can operate with very little direction and are excited about playing a key role in early days of a company. It would be a great opportunity for those who want to be a part of a product obsessed company.


Roles & Responsibilities :


- Working with Product managers, UI developers to collaboratively own the back-end layer at HappyPerks.


- Building a strong backbone for the HappyPerks platform.


- Architect, develop and maintain back-end side.


Desired Skills:


- Language : PHP, Python


- Frameworks: Laravel, Codeigniter, Django


- Should have demonstrable knowledge of technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Query


- Should have experience in developing web services (API)


- Experience in Web Services (REST/SOAP)


- Working experience on Apache web server


- Working knowledge of AWS.


- Good knowledge of relational databases.


- Expertise in MySQL, MongoDB


Must Haves :


- You're a team player.


- You love to own end to end responsibility, starting from defining the problem statement (either yourself or alongside your peers), development (PoC if needed), testing, releasing in staging & then production environment and finally monitoring.


- You're an incessant problem solver and tougher the problem gets, more fun you have.


- You've proven experience in the past to showcase the previous point either in your past work experience or during study courses by getting involved in open-source projects (like GSoC etc).


- You've a degree of BE/B-Tech/BS in computer science/IT or a related technical field from a reputed institute or you- ve equivalent practical experience.


- You've minimum product development experience of 2+ years in web/mobile startups with expertise in designing and implementing high performance web applications.


- You've proven experience in the past to showcase the previous point either in your past work experience or during study courses by getting involved in open-source projects (like GSoC etc).
