Application Support Consultant - QAD Support Technologies (4-9 yrs)
Following is the Job description for Application Consultant,
Role and responsibilities:
Interacts frequently and regularly with client and is adept at establishing solid working relationships at several levels, including management. Independently resolves issues related to QAD applications and technology. Thoughtfully and carefully researches and analyzes more complex problems, determines options and recommended solution and presents to the client in a manner that clearly articulates the issue, options, advantages and disadvantages and why they should proceed down the recommended path. Provides advice to client in areas that may not be directly related to QAD applications. Always responds to and answers client questions: if answer is not known, follows up to get information to client in a timely manner.
Determined on a project by project basis, tasks may include installation, configuration, training, business process design, testing, customization, and others as required

Operates under broad direction from clients or QAD supervisors to determine the tasks and steps necessary to accomplish the objective. Works independently and requires little support. Proactively participates in meetings and discussions and offers advice and guidance. Identifies potential issues and risks and communicates to supervisor with suggested paths for resolution
This role would require 60-70% of travelling as a part of the profile within India.
Education/Licenses: BE / MCA / MCM / MSc. Comp Science/ or any equivalent degree
Experience: Overall experience 4-9 years with minimum two to three years of QAD implementation experience or four years of other ERP implementation experience.
Computer skills: Progress, C, C++, Unix, Oracle, SQL, Java, or XML
