Function Description :

Our UX designers work closely with support, development, communications and training personnel to build the user experiences by connecting closely with functional leads in a fast dynamic, agile environment. Works hands-on in all aspects of user experience developments including: capturing and understanding business and user needs, crafting information diagrams and a wide range of strategic UX deliverables.

Purpose of the Role : 

Responsibilities :

- Transform ideas, business opportunities, research and creative vision into tangible assets that provide clear, usable, useful and desirable outcomes for users

- Craft detailed usability testing stimulus, site maps, story boards, user flows and high / low fidelity prototypes along with a wide range of UX assets and deliverables

- Work closely with team leads to drive best digital experiences through all phases of product development, ship, and iterate

- Effectively act on partner feedback, user testing results and learning’s to improve assets, products and services

- Assist in developing fast moving, tangible design process that deliver quality experiences within sprint cycles

- Assist in brainstorming, ideating, and iterating as needed

- Work in collaboration with key project team members, including user experience researchers, product owners, tech leads, developers, strategy, PM, and visual design

- Be a passionate advocate for the user, ground ideas in data driven solutions by connecting with our User Experience Research team to incorporate customer insights and principles throughout the creative process.

- Ensure adherence to design best practices, standards, brand consistency

- Finds opportunities to adopt innovative technologies

- Build page navigation buttons and search fields

- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like

- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders

- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)

- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images

Qualifications :

Critical Factors to Success :

- Fluency with design tools, most notably Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign,Captivate, Invision and/or other UX & prototyping software

- Ability to simplify and turn complex interactions into intuitive user experiences

- Knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of HTML, CSS, JavaScript

- Knowledge and/or experience working in agile product development

- Exceptional skills in ideation, sketching, wireframing, user flows and information architecture

- Ability to create both high and low fidelity clickable prototypes

- Strong relationship management, verbal and written interpersonal skills

- Data sleuth – great interest in using data to improve products and differentiate the user experiences

- Excellent relationship management, verbal & written communication skills

- Clear and confident communicator with an affinity for visual storytelling

Past Experience :

- 2-4 years UX / Interaction experience designing consumer facing applications, web-based training and websites

- Exceptional skills in ideation, sketching, concepting, brainstorming, and UX asset production

- Strong portfolio showing breadth of UX Design work

Academic Background :

- Degree in computer Science, Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction or related field, or equivalent working experience
