American Express entered the travel agency business in 1915 and today is one of the world's largest luxury travel and lifestyle services networks. The Global Travel & Lifestyle Services (TLS) business provides easy access and extraordinary service for Card Members seeking leisure or business travel, as well as a variety of lifestyle services. TLS serves


American Express Card Members across 25 markets around the globe via a number of servicing channels including : phone, email and online. Service offerings differ by card type, with the phone channel predominantly servicing premium Card Members (i.e. Platinum & Centurion) with unique servicing models for each.


The business continues to experiment and evolve with new servicing channels and models that will deliver improved experienced for our Card Members.


For the past few years, the TLS business has been on a path to build increasingly global experiences for our Card Members, while allowing us internally to identify opportunities for greater efficiency, best practice and innovation across the network.


This role will work closely with the Vice President of Travel & Lifestyle Services - support the functions for Global Operations & Analytics.


Role : Business Analysis - Online Analytics


Responsibilities :


- Deliver BAU and ad-hoc reports pertaining to Amex Travel Online (ATO) Analytics to end stakeholders


- Deliver best in class analytical solutions to deliver strategic insights on value added by Online Channel to Travel & Lifestyle servicing model of American Express


- Successfully engage Stakeholders on multiple initiatives, lead or support ongoing projects and provide consultative expertise focused on win-win solutions


- Enhance reporting capabilities through automation, consolidation of metrics/parameters, incorporating intuitive analysis and recommendation or by creating new intuitive MI etc.


- Identify Business Growth Opportunities or Operational Excellence opportunities and present business cases to Stakeholders, Senior Leadership


- Comfortable operating and contributing to a team-oriented environment with strong personal accountability,

commitment and integrity with respect to all aspects of the role


- A demonstrated ability to work in high-pressure situations with minimal errors


- Flexibility and adaptability to work within tight deadlines and changing priorities.


- Candidate should be a self-motivated individual with the ability to learn quickly and work independently with complex, unstructured Initiatives


The Person should hold a Master / Bachelor Degree with 3-6 years of overall experience and 2 years of the related domain in Business Analysis.


- Extensive experience of data slicing, insights generation, consultative approach and report development using large volumes of granular data to deliver analytical solutions.


- Extensive experience using MS-Excel & MS Access for data manipulation and analysis.


- Strong Analytical abilities with working Knowledge of data processing tools such as SAS, SQL is a must


- Excellent Project management, client management, verbal and written communication skills


- A demonstrated ability to work in high-pressure situations with minimal errors


- Should be able to function with minimum supervision with a high sense of ownership


- Open to work any shift between 8:00 am to 10:00 pm window ( Mostly fixed shifts but should be flexible to meet the needs of the Business)


- Working knowledge of VBA, Tableau will be an added advantage.


- The incumbent should have a performance rating of G3L3 or better in the last review (for internal employees)
